New Year, New Plans...
And a gift for writers!
Hey everyone, and happy new year! I hope this year is blessed for everyone. There’s a lot of new things coming this year, and I’m excited to share some of those things today.
RealmieWriMo—January Edition
RealmieWriMo is officially underway once again in the RealmSphere, which is where I’ll be spending most of my writing time! I have a few different goals, but my biggest ones are…
Finish Project CSAL
First draft for Project C
Revisions for WBCM
Another new devotional project I’m embarking on.
Are you participating in any NaNo-style writing camps this month? Let me know what your goals are and we can cheer each other on!
Sneak Peeks for 2026 Releases
On January 23rd I will be revealing the cover for project CSAL/QSAL. I’m so excited to share it, and I’ve been sitting on the design since Black Friday (which was my only impulse buy for the Black Friday season, I’ll add)! You can get a sneak peek at the cover below in the upper left corner. It’s dramatic. It’s really cool. And I’m excited to share.
If you’re more of a contemporary fan, I’m also working on another Bethlehem Belle novella, WBCM, which will be releasing this March or April, Lord willing. I’ve just got to nail down some revisions and plan out the rest of the series to make it make sense. And if you’ve been waiting for Rooted, it’s coming along and will be here in time for Easter as well! (Again, Lord willing. I planned a spring release for 2025 and…well, here we are with a spring 2026 release.)
A lot of the books on my slate for this year are ones of redemption, of the one lost sheep returning to the 99, of the one running away finding their home, of the misfits finding their place in the world…and healing when old wounds spill over into other areas of our lives. It’s my prayer that whoever needs to read these will find them!
2026 Editing
I am now available for editing through 2026! Please feel free to contact me if you have any need for an editor, proofreader, or formatter. My info, query form, and rates can be found below.
Writerly Gift
For a wonderful advent calendar author Paris Kaufman put together in December, I wrote up a writer grab-bag kit with tips and tricks for writers looking to hone and improve their craft. And if you didn’t get a chance to snag that PDF on December 23rd, you can download it here!
So tell me: what are some of your new year’s resolutions, plans, or goals? I’m looking forward to stretching my craft in pursuing new genres, and being more intentional with my Bible study time. Let’s chat below!
